All sportsmen and women know it: just like the diet, hydration is a key performance factor that must not be neglected: 2% fluid loss for a 70 kg man is a loss of only 1.4 kg (each gram of weight lost is considered as equivalent to 1 ml of loss through sweating) = a drop 20% in performance!! Whether Before, During or After exercise, you must drink without feeling thirsty, every 15-20 minutes in small sips, a suitable drink for the physical exercise and climatic conditions, at ambient temperature.
